Set your first test

You set a test from Tests, on one page with four sections: The test, Who and when, Questions and Rules. A test can be all coding, all multiple choice or a mix.

The four sections

  1. Open Tests in the rail and choose Set a test. To start from an earlier test, use Copy a past test.
  2. The test: give it a name, a description and the minutes each student gets.
  3. Who and when: pick one or more classes, or paste an invited list with one email per line. Choose when it opens (Now or At a time) and the last start (No limit or At a time). Times are India time.
  4. Questions: add them with Type one, Paste many, From the bank, From a past test or Add a coding problem. A coding problem needs shown tests and hidden tests. Hidden tests are what stop hard-coded answers. With the coding questions, set the split between code and explanation for the test. It starts at 30% explanation.
  5. Rules: choose where students sit it (Desktop app only or Any laptop browser), the integrity checks (Standard, Strict or Custom), when results go out, whether AI marks the code and the explanation and whether to Allow another try.
  6. Read the list under Before you set it and fix anything marked. Choose Set test. Use Save draft to come back later.
